Question

Hello again! So, I switched to NovAqua+ and AmQuel+ and let me tell you, NovAqua smells like rotten eggs lol, but that's not why I'm here.

Earlier this morning when I was putting the heater in my fish's tank, there was a dead fly floating in it, and yes, I took it out. But I'm wondering, do you think it contaminated the water and can make the fish sick? I'm not sure how long it was in there and I don't want Spaz to get sick.

Have you ever found a fly in your tank? I hope this isn't a stupid question, it's just flies are very dirty and I want to be careful. Thanks!

I'd maybe do a large water change, you don't know what sort of iffy parasites or pesticides were on that fly.

I found a small fly in Strawberry's tank once, but it was just before I was about to do a 100% WC anyways, so I didn't mind.
