Exclamation Can snails carry ich?

So recently one of my fish got ich and she had a snail in her tank. I took out the fish and the snail and completely scrubbed down everything. I gave the fish a salt bath figuring it couldn't hurt and put a tiny bit of salt in the tank to help because I also noticed her fins has a small tear. But now I have a problem cause I can't put the snail in the tank with the salt and because the bottle of medicine says to remove snails cause they will die.
I don't know whether snails can be a carrier of ich.
I am also afraid that if I put sail back in the fish will get ich again when they had just recovered...
So I am now stuck with a snail in a cup who has no where to go until I clean the tank again so there is no salt if they can't carry it... if they can... then I have a snail in a soup container until it lives out its life?

never mind... I found a answer though it took a while because I like two or more sources to say the same thing so it has a better chance of being correct... apparently snails can not get or carry ich i is a fish only parasite... however the medication and salt would kill them...
i will try to find a better home for the snail then than a pint soup container but not think about putting him back until the ich is definitely gone and i do not need to medicate nor have salt
