Yeah, it sucks but it happens more often than you think. And with sororities it helps to have a heavily planted tank as well so they don't chase each other as easily. There's a lot to sororities but it's well worth it in the end! I love my sorority and would never give it up!

I hope the other two will still be fine though!!

Yeah, they act like best friends! Still have my ct in separate tank though. Do you think once I get my 45 gal. sorority up I could put my ct with them again if I have it heavily planted??

The CT is a girl right?

If you get like lots more girls, then yes! I'd suggest at least 6 girls to start off with and then depends on if you want all girls or if you want some schoolers/cory's to go in there and stuff.

As Lilnaugrim has said, sororities really need a minimum of 5-6 females to have the best chance at working. You will find in 'sororities' where you have only 2-3 females, the most dominant fish will often target the other/s with quite a lot of aggression.

Most females would react aggressively if put into a tank as part of a pair or trio, so this is no reason to think your CT female would not be suitable to live in a sorority environment if you increase the number of females she was living with.
