Well my Sokka has been fasting all day (and he is not happy about it) and he got his water treated like it should have been (still feel bad for all the chemicals i made him sit in.. :( ) and hes swimming around a lot more, dancing at everything inside and outside his tank, and now that he is activly moving and dancing around im noticing that the slight bump on his right side is starting to go down, hes staying upright more often, no more sideways swimming. im still going to fast him, just incase hes faking me out to get food, but i think you all gave me the advice i needed to make my lil Sokka a happy fishy, thank you all for your time and advice!

So just another update on my Sokka. He pooped this morning. A great big one. Should I keep fasting him fr the rest of today and tomorrow or is it ok to feed him now? He's swimming better, and he's only tipping to the side a lil bit now

YAY FISH POO!!!! I'd probably wait until tomorrow to feed him & then feed only 1 or 2 pellets & increase it by 1 or 2 each day until you're back to normal.

With the wardleys since they are so big I should probly be feeding him less than if I was usinga smaller pellet, yes? I plan on getting some smaller pellet but I have to wait till our next pay day on tesday.

I fed Wardley or tried to (mine wouldn't eat them) in the beginning & they swell quite a bit so 1 or 2 max at one feeding is probably enough. I don't know how big your boy is. Have you seen them once they've soaked for a little bit? I was quite surprised. The NLS pellets don't do that, Omega One swells a little.

Yeah, I soak them before I fed him since he seams to have trouble with the dry pellets. They are so big I normally break them in half for him. He's about an inch long in body, 2 inches with his fins.

You can crush them, some of mine would eat them if I crushed them. Some people say soaking food will remove the nutrients, I don't know if its true or not.
