Seeing algae growth on plants already, I just planted!

I've only had the plants about a week and I can already see algae growth. Will take over the tank? What is the best solution?

Do you know what kind of algae it is? Better yet a description of the algae would be nice, so we can help you get rid of it.

There are different methods for getting rid of algae.

I usually dose more excel or h2o2 spot treatment, For most types of algae.

The type of algae would be helpful as gorilla said. IME, less tank light time & less liquid ferts helps keep it at bay. My tank lights are on for only 8 hrs each day & I only dose ferts at the most once a week but usually not even that.

I am not sure it looks green an it's very low and close to the leaves but I suppose most algae does. I will try to post a picture or ID It.

Is it a dark green & slimy? Rubs off the leaves? Or is like a green hair algae?
