I'm as bad as you guys!

In the span of a week I've gone from 0 to 7 lol I started the day stopping at a little local pet store. He had beautiful bettas! But they were in extremely tiny cups that hadn't been cleaned in who knows how long...They all had green algae in them, some were so bad you couldn't see what the fish looked like! Upon asking the man working there I was told he was on his own and hadn't had a chance to nor would be able to change them while I was there so I could see them. A few minutes later he tells me if I want to I can change all their cups and he'll give me a free one So some 30+ betta changes later I walk out with this handsome, free male

As far as the male goes, do you guys think the dark coloring on the end of his tail fin is something I should be worried about? I wouldn't be surprised if he was sick after his living conditions, I gave all the fish a salt bath this afternoon...

That's awesome! Grats on all those fish.

Don't mean to sound rude or anything, but what are those lumps on your blue female?

That's a good question! I hadn't noticed them, they're only on that one side and she swims fine, I guess I'll just have to watch her. Thanks for pointing it out

I have one quick question for you all...the second female in the pics, she is the only one who keeps here anal fin open like that, is she a different tail type or just going her own way?

Just clamped fins. They usually have them from being stressed, or sick. keep an eye on her.
