What kind of salt?

What kind of salt should I use in hatching my BBS?

You use rock salt. I got a huge thing of "ice cream" salt in the seasoning section at walmart for less than $2 and it lasted me the whole time I made bbs for my fry. It's in a big red box. =D

Thank you! We have ice cream salt, so I am going to set up a hatch today sort of as a "practice hatch" before spawning, and feed them to my adults.

Hmmm.... I've always just used aquarium salt. :) LOL They hatch.... Weird.

I myself use aquarium salt also, I have a hatchery that seperates the shrimp from the egg shells. You also better keep a couple of extra batches hatching. Once you empty your hatchery you will have to wait another 18 or so hours for more to hatch thats why I keep 2 extra bowls going. When the hatchery gets empty I clean it out and pour the other two bowls in it. then I mix two more bowls and ect,ect,ect,
