Fin rot?

Here's my new boy I just got yesterday. I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be sick, I rescued him from a tiny cup full of algae... I've noticed the blackish color at the end of his tail fin, it seems a little more noticable today, and I'm noticing it at the edges of the bottom fin (sorry, I don't know fin names). I gave him a salt bath yesterday afternoon, should I continue giving him baths? or maybe try something else?

personally, I don't think it's finrot. It could just be the natural coloration of his tail, he's just becoming more relaxed and his colours are coming out :)

If his tail starts to get shorter and shred, then you have a fin rot case, but he looks completely fine!
