Question Bizarre BLUE Lump On Tail End

Hello, nice to meet you, I am new here~

Tank - One Gallon Bowl
Water Change - Roughly Weekly
Water - Purified Water + 1/2 cc Seachem Prime
Food - Hikari Bio Gold (fun fact, "hikari" means "light" in Japanese)
Fed - Every day/every other day
Heated/Filter/Aerator - None
Temperature - Well, it's very warm here in Florida lol

I have had this red betta fish for nearly a year now. He has always had a small blue patch on his tail end, and through the months, it has formed into a lump. The odd part, the blue coloration has also spread... And it spread a lot, as if it's part of this growth.

I have not been alarmed, as he acts completely normal (friendly, excited "wiggle dances" for food), until I noticed the scales in this area "pineconing".

He is still acting normal, has a healthy appetite, and is very energetic. Is this an untreatable tumor, or is there any hope of treatment?

After several odd Google searches for blue growths and such, I haven't had any luck...

I know, it's the lighting, but they are really bright, bold blue.

Color

I tried to get an image with better colors. I hope this helps with the diagnosis.

He could be marbling.

Scales

Will the scales fall off during marbling? If so, I guess it makes sense that the scales would fall off first at the bulge...

I just hope, that whatever the diagnoses, the "lump" is simply benign. It does not seem to cause problems right now.
