Hi everyone! I'm new to the forums, so hi! (:
I just had a quick question. I recently got my male pastel white HM betta from my LPS. However, when I brought him home about a month ago, he was plain white with the occasional red dot or two on his body. I had just passed it off as a coloration gene but, especially in the last week, he's formed many patches of red on his body, his fins have begun to form red blotches, and and even his dorsal fin is beginning to show a hint of black..
I was just wondering if it was possible for bettas to get their coloring even at his age.. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? Also, can anyone help me figure out what his final coloration will somewhat look like? Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you (:
