Thanks for your kind words everyone. He arrived today, and I'd say he's lucky to be alive from the way the stupid seller packaged him! He came in this tiny little box that wasn't even marked "live animal", and he was in an even smaller bag that wasn't even big enough for him to turn around. I am SO mad. He was barely alive when I got him in the tank I had set up, but he started swimming around within a minute. I'm surprised and disappointed, because the seller had good feedback for both buying and selling. Needless to say I won't buy from them anymore, and please send good fishy vibes my way..Hopefully Mr. betta will be okay from his journey.

i dont see a problem with the packaging. thats the norm when you order fish online.

Wow, seriously? I am never ordering fish online again, then. That's just needless suffering for the poor fish. Luckily he seems to be fine now, and he ate a little while ago.

apparently they think its actually safer for the fish to be in a smaller bag then have the box tossed all around and him being tossed within a bigger bag. almost seems logical to me.

Ya i was about to say what Christina said. I would imagine it would be better for them to be in a smaller bag so they dont get wishhed and washed all over the places hitting themselves, this way they only have a body size length to get hit from one wall to the other. If i was getting shipped id rather be nice and tight so i didnt hit my head a bunch ahha.
