SO I went out and bought some pellet food and tried to give some to my betta. But….his mouth is too small for the food! He kept trying and trying to eat the food but his little mouth is just too small so I gave him more blood worms. Should I but the little pellets in half? I mean these things are tiny already.

My Gabriel has problems eating whole pellets as well, I've yet to figure out exactly what his problem is...tough I'm guessing some sort of deformed jaw. I crush his pellets up for him and he eats them just fine then....crushing is probably your best option

and might I say GORGEOUS boy!! Hes absolutely stunning!!

I have a very tiny female that just can't eat regular pellets so I feed her micro pellets. I do give her bio gold but only if the pellets are very tiny.

I agree with the micro pellets. But until you have to buy more food - crush up what you have for now.

Just crush the pellets. My DBT tail's mouth is too small for most pellets too! I actually feed Micro pellets to all my bettas.
