Thinking about...

dividing my 5 gallon. I know It only gives 2-2.5 gallons each, but I think it would be great for Castiel.
He's been kinda sad recently. Just moping around, as if he knew all his fish brothers and sisters are gone. He gets really excited when we come to the tank though. He dances and will flare a little, even when he hears us move he jumps and and goes to the front of the tank. When we leave though, he just mopes around again. It's pitiful.
I don't think it's a illness or anything, he just seems sad.
I was thinking about getting him a little girlfriend for the other side of the tank. I'm planning on going out tonight and look around for things to make a divider. Then, I'm going to find a cute little girl. I don't know if I'll find "her" tonight or anything.
Anyway, I'll quarantine her for a week or so for both of their safety and fix up the tank nice for them both!

We'll see how things work out.

My boy was moppy after his girlie died in April =[ his new gf just doesn't meet his standards.
So don't rush finding her! good luck =]

Okay I'm back. I bought the mesh thing for the divider and some more river rocks for accents in the tank. I didn't find the report binders so I'm on the hunt now (although I only checked one place for them).
I did see some pretty females, but I just didn't feel ready to buy a girl yet. Maybe because I didn't see one that truly caught my eye.
The one I was liking the most there though, was white bodied with light blue in her tail and fins.
Anyway, I'm still going to keep my eye out for a girl though. I might check Petco...maybe. Every time I've gone, their females usually aren't in the best shape.

ya id do it too, hes probably lonely........they had some great looking females at the petco in spartanburg, i know its a long drive from us but.....

I doubt the hubster would take me that far. :P I don't think he is liking the idea of getting another betta. :P
