Which tank would be better?

I currently have my betta in a 2.5 gallon tank but have for a while been thinking about upgrading him to a 5 gallon. I've been looking at these 2 tanks:

The one with led lighting is similar to what I have currently because my 2.5 gallon has the same three lighting options.
I believe they both have hinged lids for feeding. Which would be better? Anyone have experience with either of these tanks?

I would go for the tank with fluorescent lighting as well. It's pretty hard to grow anything other than Java Fern and Marimo Moss balls under those weak LEDs that come with the other tank.

Even if you don't decide to plant right now, you'll have the option later if you pick the fluorescent one!

So you have the option of growing plants and gives a bit more room for the divider if you want to divide it with the taller lid.

The fluorescent. I had the other one and didn't like the hood at all. LED lights are weak. If you want moonlight (blue), you can buy something like the link below. That's what I did for my 20 long. Or, you can buy submersible LED strips.

I'm leaning towards the fluorescent. I have the 2.5 version of the led and the lights aren't waterproof, I've already had the lights go out on me once and replaced the hood. I think I would have the same problem with this one. The fluorescent one seems to have the lights built in in a way so that corrosion would never be a problem.
