Ahh thanks for all the good wishes guys, I would have posted pics already, but i had to go south to sleep at my g/f parents place last night because they had a huge party and my g/f has work all weekend soooo we needed sleep. I am out the door now to baby sit her nephew why she works too... So time for my fish! :( pics asap!

The electric bill shouldn't be too horrible -- we have three tanks (filters & heaters) running and the bill is pretty much the same as it was before fish.

Not to be a party-pooper, though, but did you ask about your lease and if you can have fish? Some landlords are very specific that tanks over __ gallons are not allowed -- they are worried about structural damage from the weight or water damage in case the tank breaks, etc.

Yeah, be careful with the fish tanks, make sure you can have them according to your lease!

Good!! It would seriously be a bummer if that became an issue.

I remember my last lease (before I got fish) was very specific on the issue of what tank size was allowed, how many, etc. I think it even specified that you couldn't keep a tank upstairs. It was weird.
