my little Ladybug...

passed away this morning

i'm absolutely heartbroken. she had a really bad habit of jumping, so i had to put pantyhose over her bowl. a couple of times when i took it off to feed her, she ended up jumping out. luckily i got to her in time, but not tonight. i ended up forgetting to put the pantyhose back over her bowl, and she jumped out. i feel horrible. i made her a little 'casket' out of one of those cardboard jewelry boxes, since i just can't flush her. she was my first betta, and she provided me with a lot of funny memories, i'm going to miss her a lot. in a little bit, i'm gunna bury her next to some flowers in our backyard. ugh, i'm not looking forward to emptying and putting her bowl away later

thank you everyone. yes, i'm definitely thinking about getting myself another girl. i'm pretty sure i'm going to rescue another one from walmart, i just don't know when.

My walmart has all full grown fish that are sick, and all the girls are sisters and look exactly the same. A grey body with red tips.
