Some people just think they know everything..Because clearly, they are God's gift to the world and we should listen to everything they say! lol Luckily for these kinds of people I haven't run into one in a pet store yet..

I was in Petco once and some lady was roughly going through the bettas cups and was talking out loud to herself. Then she saw a female and was like "WELL, I don't WANT a female cause I don't want to breed them!" I then told her that the females are great pets too! Then she walked away. LOL

Ugh, I would have walked away from her too. That was very rude, you're right! I've seen people kind roll their eyes or get snarky about things they consider "too common" or "below their tastes", and this lady sounded like she might very well be one of those.

"Oh, you have a mutt? Well I have a pure bred so-and-so!"
"Bettas! Pfft. Those things are everywhere."
I guess some people think that just because something is average or common means it shouldn't be appreciated.
Passion for the world around us takes all shapes, just gotta remember that and ignore old rain clouds like her.

I have a neighbor that's always commenting about something or someone being "common". Like she's better than anyone else! lol

lol I love how you said it in one word christina...people are like that for everything though, I'm trying to buy a car at the moment and this one girl I work with was asking what it was and then asked the color, and when I told her silver all she had to say was "common color" lol which is even better since hers is silver....I don't get some people
