I would try to use salt soaks instead of the Bettafix. I did salt soaks 3x's a day with both Rhett and Frosty when they were battling their fin rot a couple weeks ago. That was what seemed to stop the fin rot from progressing, and now they're both slowly regrowing their fins. Make sure his tank is nice and clean, and do frequent water changes, like everyday if possible.

The Betta fix said to add it to the water every day and not change it for a week (I guess so its gets stronger and stronger?) How do I do a salt bath. One worry is I will not be home all day tomorrow.

Yep that is looking a lot more like rot.

Honestly, BettaFix is a really controversial medication that I would never personally recommend. Way too sketchy. some people have really bad results with it.

So I cleaned his tank again, and did the salt bath. But isnt he living in a salt bath already? I add 1 rounded tbs per 5 gallons every time I clean out the tank.
