finn curling???

i forgot what its called but my fish has this thing that makes his finn curl and i know its caused by watter getting to cold and i was just randomly wondering if there is a cure for this by any chance or something that will help at all.

I would just make sure that the water temperature doesn't get too cold. You can stick a thermometer in there and do every day 50% water changes to warm the water up.

Fin curling is more or less uncurable, but the good thing is that your fish don't care what their fins look like :). You can stop it, however.

I have never hear of it being caused by cold water. As far as I know it is caused by

a) Really Hard Water (the tap water has lots of minerals dissolved in it)

But most often,
b) High ammonia, nitrite, nitrate levels (aka dirty water) .

The Marina tank in your picture is only a few litres, so realistically you would have to change the water 100% every day if you ever want hope of reversing or at least stopping fin curl.

that pict was when i first got him. he is now in a 2g tank.

i test my water regulerly and it dosent have any problems that i can tell.
