Snail question

When I first set up my sorority, before adding in my girls, I was seeing little snails all over the tank, at least 10. One MTS, and several ramshorns....and then I added my girls and now I don't see them anywhere anymore...Did my fish eat or kill them??? Or do they just hide? I loved them... but now Im thinking I need to get some bigger snails with them instead.

MTS tend to stay in the substrate. I usually only see the larger ones on occasion & the little ones when lights are out. The ramshorn & pond snails I have are tiny. I find them on the plants or in the substrate & some on the glass. I really see them when I feed an algae wafer. It is VERY possible your girls have been munching on them as well.
