This guy has been trying to sll his tanks for over a month and first listed them for $150. Now he's down to $75 but its still wayyyy over priced. It just cracks me up. (2 ten gallons, 1 hood, 2 lights, 1 old fashioned air pump, 1 under gravel filter, pink/blue/red gravel, and an old ugly green metal stand. You can tell that this is an OLD set up) I dont think he could get more then $40 if that. Sorry I'm stuck at home with a cold and bored.
This guy is a dreamer. 55 and a 30, one with wood trim one with black, a nicer stand, 2 lights, again one wood one black, a net, 2 heaters, gravel, 1 filter, and some dinky accessories. And all for $250!!!
Hahaha ik! I've been watching that guy relist that thing for the past month! There is someone selling a 2 gal, and a 5 gal on the chicago CL, but my mom would shoot me if I brought home another tank.
Lol I think I'm content for right now at least. I would like to get a doubletail, or a good lookin crowntail, but not enough to cause drama at my house, lol.
lol new2bettas...........i told my hubby i wanted just ONE tank for guppies..........i have NO luck with guppies..........and look how many tanks i have now LOL
Some people, like my husband, think that you can just fill something with water and plop a fish in and it will live happily every after. I've been trying to explain cycling to him and water testing and he was so cute and said "ohhhh thats why all my fish kept dieing when I was a kid."
There are a lot of great tanks on CL, but some people are wanting more money for their used tanks then a brand new one! The good deals get snatched up fast and are usually first come first served which really bugs me. But I have my 2 tanks now and I’m happy with them. I don’t think I could handle much more because of maintenance and room. And besides, I don’t want to end up being a crazy fish lady! Ha ha ha!
