Just going to say that some young males also have egg spots, it's not exclusive to just females. I have never seen a female with fins that long, so I'm going to say that it's probably a male.

Oh and he color has changed. Her fins are now light blue with pink and her body is darker.

wow, everyone's SO concerned about its SEX! XD If people can decide their own sex why can't fish? I mean whats the harm unless you're trying to breed correct? ^_-*
Well Idk anything about betta yet but I thought I'd tell you that it was great of you rescuing that betta and that it's SUPER cute, and I can't wait for another picture post! =]

wallywestisthebest333 - Sex matters because males can not be with other bettas, but females can be housed together. If someone were to add a male betta to a betta sorority it would be disastrous.
