Baffle a filter?

Hey guys, so I just recently moved my betta into a 5.5 gallon tank (finally) and he loves it and has been swimming around constantly haha but the filter is a little strong, does anyone know a fairly easy way to baffle one?

Its a topfin power 10 filter, which i think is why its so strong. But buying the tank and all that took a chunk of change, so i cant afford a new filter haha but ill try that! thanks. its not too hard right?

Yup! It's easy and inexpensive, and it works.

My black skirt tetras were having difficulty with the outflow of our filters, so we bought some plastic "ground layer plants" and cut them down to fit the length of the outflow of water and tied a water poof string to each end of the plastic plant and hung it around the filter. Has worked like a charm for the last 7 months, tetras are happy and not being pushed around. I hope the pic came through okay. This is for a HOB...I guess I'm not sure if that it was you have, but if so, it is worth a try...it worked for my babies :)

Fill up the filter with sponge stuff -- that'll slow it down...
