I reallllly want these colors but...

I would love to add this into my black copper line because I want this pattern badly BUT I'm not entirely sure I should get him-He looks to be carrying DT. My female is top notch. OK. Talk me out of him.

The female is below the male:

This female is available through the same seller. Love her solid solid color. Hate her topline and I'm almost sure she is HM and not HMPK but if I buy the male I'll get her just for her color to add to my pastel line. The pastel line male is reallllly nice. Little flatish spot on the topline but nice none the less. The male is the platinum one.

Whew, the male sold. I really do want better form on my breeders but was considering him heavily because he looked to carry DT. I think I'll pass on her. I do want full masked blues for my pastel line. The more color the better I think.

Any black (orchid, melano, etc)) x solid irid = that guy's color.

Somewhere along your line, you would want to cross to a DT. You want the dorsal rays to branch or add to it so it will lean forward. Maintaining dorsal form IME is harder than caudal. Without the needed crosses, the dorsal will eventually return to its classic form.
