I lost Gregory on my birthday last week. I know exactly how you feel. I wanted to throw up because of how he looked when he passed. He drifted to the bottom, and the filter had created a small current on the bottom. He ended up sucked into it. I found him upside down. I couldn't even bring myself to move him, I was so upset. I had to wait for my ex to get home to flush him.

Part of me wants to bring Thor and Mimi back to the pet store because I don't think I can take it anymore, but I'd be condemning them to death there. I might as well enjoy their company while they're still with me.

That's just too terrible. I'm sorry that they're gone, but I'm sure you gave them more love and care than some yahoo. I still don't believe it was lack of care...no....it was something else. You're a great fish parent c:
