New Plants in the Sorority

So I ordered a bunch of vals off of aquabid and I put them in all of my tanks today. I just put them in there all over the place for now, and I plan or rearranging the sorority tomorrrow.
(There's only one bulb in the hood currently, so that's why it's dark on one side of the tank.)

I don't like how it looks disorganized at the moment. I'm a bit anal about how my tanks look, so it's driving me crazy right now

its looking good, but, youll figure it out how you like it.

just a piece of advice on these..............
the gravel looks a little larger than the norm, like its riverstones, size of a dimeish?
if it is, you my want to get a small package of smaller gravel and put the plants in that and then you can cover it with the larger gravel. the reason being, sometimes the larger gravel doesnt promote root growth, harder for the plant to establich or die

It's not quite as big as a dime, I would say that it's more bean sized? I had a problem with some of the plants taking root at first, but now they seem to be doing quite well. I was planning on going to the store though, and getting some of the special plant substrate as well. Thanks.
