ya good luck with your new betta! hope this one survivs!

if you do divied your new 5g make shur the divider gose above the water line. my friends have had problems with the fish jumping over. you also want to make shure they are not to agresve tourds each other because they might kill themselvs by trying to bang into the fish one the other side.

Happy B-Day =)

So far the betta i bought tues is still doing good!! We named him Durham (my husband named him) and yesterday with it being my bday i took the dead halfmoon back to petco and got a pink/purple CT in another tank and he is doing good as well. I named him Oliver. I picked up the 5 gal tank yesterday and am going to clean it out tonight. It has gravel already in it...should i buy new gravel or can i use the gravel in it if i clean it real good with hot water? we are going to put a divider in it and get 2 more males.
