Oh boy, lucky me! People who actually WANT to listen to me talk about my bettas! I was feeling like a crazy cat lady for awhile. But now I know I'm not alone and I can gab to you guys about the crazy things my fishums do without feeling like... well a weirdo.
So Hi. I'm Manda. My day jobs involve illustration, cake decorating and asshattery. I'm not an -inexperienced- fish keeper as I've owned varieties of fish all my life including bettas. But this is my first time owning... more than one betta (I own six Bettas... shh). Having as a child always wanted to own what amounted to a litter of bettas... I made it happen pretty much as soon as I had the disposable income.
Keeping them happy and healthy is easy. Keeping my mouth shut about them in polite conversation is hard. It really is difficult not to whip out my phone and pull up pictures whenever the topic of someone's kids comes up.
I'm not ashamed to admit it. My bettas are my kids.
Say hello to Erias, the dumbo in my avatar. He's the scardiest betta I've ever known. Poor guy. As for my other babbus, I will be back with pics later! I need to stop procrastinating and actually work. Lol.
