breeding question about time

Assuming everything goes well in 1 shot, how long does it take?
I'm talking from very beginning, getting the bettas ready, all the way until the bettas are large enough for their own cup.

If your just looking for a time limit, it can be totally different, but a reasonable conclusion would be roughly about 3-4 months

I was trying to figure out if I would have time next semester to try it out.

it takes quite a bit of time each day because you want to do water changes everyday to keep the fry healthy

Also, the fry need to be fed several times a day.

this is assuming they successfully breed...

but anyway, next semester my schedule is pretty relaxed (last semester!), so I'll have quite a bit of time on my hands. (plus, I can always use a distraction).

Anyway, thanks - I'm definitly going to consider breeding my betta with another (perhaps try to find a silver-colored female...)

Breeding is a fun thing to so as long as you know how to do it! just keep researching!
