Small Betta food

Just got a small Betta but he is too small to get down the Betta pellets. He has eaten some crushed sun dried baby shrimp. Is this good for him or should I feed something else?

What brand of pellets do you have that are too big for him?

You can crush/break betta pellets to make them smaller.

+1 That too lol

Feeding them only the shrimp wouldn't be a balanced enough diet.

Is it fine for a betta to eat only shrimp for a week?

Sure it is. It's OK for him not to eat for a week. LoL

New Life Spectrum "Grow" pellets are 0.5mm (really small) and great for growing carnivores.

Omega One Betta Pellets. He'll take one in his mouth for a couple of seconds, spit it out and won't try them again for a long while.
