This morning when I woke up I noticed a small white dot on my Betta fish's body, and I've been really worried about it being a possible Ich infection. It looks like a small grain of salt, and it isn't some sort of patch or bump. I haven't noticed any change in his behavior patterns, swimming ability, or appetite. He still swims to the feeding hole whenever I'm nearby and seems to be doing fine. My tank is always pretty warm due to the hot temperature of my location, so I thought that he wouldn't have to worry about this. Is it possible that it's something else or is there something I should be doing right away before things potentially get out of hand?
