Is a 1.5g ok?

There are 1.5g tanks readily available here, but are they okay? I know 2.5 is the minimum, but if you have a heater in there, is it alright? It may be a bit small, but if I ever got another betta, it's a readily available tank.

You can't safely heater a 1.5 gallon tank. I wouldn't recommend it as a permanent home, no.

I have a Tetra whisper heater in a 1.5 gallon critter keeper and have had no problem.
