PetCo fruit flies.

I was in PetCo the other day, and noticed they have jars of wingless fruit flies. I'd like to know if anyone has tried them. Thanks!!!!

I just fed my betta mosquito larvae for the first time. They didn't stand a chance once he spotted them moving about his tank.

I have seen the wingless fruit flies as well and wandered if he would eat them. Guess I will watch this thread to find out the answer.

Yes, Bettas loves wingless fruit flies. Lots of yummy protein! The only trick is getting them to notice the little guys!

They're great as long as you can keep a colony thriving. Betta love'em.

I didn't know fruit flies were on the menu...it's funny to see this now, my one male is in a temporary 1/2 gallon in the kitchen and this morning while I was making my coffee I noticed a fruit fly flying around his tank, and he was going NUTS trying to get it. Maybe I should get him some!!
