Suggestions would be great!

I'm sorry this is a little off topic, but it's about ADFs.

I've been wanting a pair for awhile now, and I think I'm ready to get them. I've been eyeing 2.5 gallon tanks. I've read different ideal living spaces, I was wondering what you ADF owners use?

They are going to be kept on their own, and I'm only getting two. My idea was to either get this 2.5 rectangular tank (looks like a mini version of a basic 5 or 10 gallon tank), which is glass and more attractive (looks similar to my 5 gallon). OR get a 4 gallon kritter keeper which is plastic and usually has a vomit worthy colored lid. They cost around the same price too.

Obviously, bigger is better. I'm just wondering what everyone else would do/has done. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!

I have two in with Friday in a three gallon section, and they are fine since they have the ten gallon filter in that section. I might give them to my uncle since his died when he got a heater for his ten. But any of your options sound good. And I realized that I don't have to feed them with tongs anymore, I use flakes and sink them and they eat them all!

Thanks for the feedback! I was planning on just pushing the food down I guess?

I'm going to have a bare bottom for them since most gravel and rocks seem to be dangerous for them. If anything I would use sand, unfortunately, I don't know how to clean sand. My tank is going to be unfiltered and I'll be doing more frequent water changes.
