Exclamation is hot glue safe for bettas?

hi im a new betta owner and recently while i was cleaning my bettas tank my little sis broke his plant off its little weight. does anyone know if hot glue is safe for bettas? its my first one and i dont want to accidentally murder him.

No, it is not safe. You can use aquarium safe silicon only.

Its about $8. Follow the directions VERY carefully : )
It seems a better value to you and your pet to buy a new living plant. One Amazon Sword is about the same price from the petco. Ive had very good luck with them as a beginner.
Pick a large and healthy looking one!

Yes of course you can use hot glue in your tank with decorations but the non toxic kind!

Hot glue is essentially just melted plastic, and is actually 100% safe... I use it in my bbs hatchery and to hold things together in tanks. It's even on the tube I use to drip water into my fry tanks... And it works fine.

The package should say "non-toxic".

Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) if you have the need to know. It's pretty safe
