ok so i am very stupid
i shoulda bought a filter.
my fish got some parasite/ bacteria and its fins has disinagrated like acid hit it or something.
i feel so bad....
idk what i should do.... its prolly suffering in pain.... :(
any ideas?

How big is your tank/bowl? You don't necessarily need a filter, but if you don't have one, you need to make sure you're on top of the water changes so the ammonia doesn't build up. I know that snails can be very dirty, so if you have snails, you'll probably want to get a filter.
Can you be more specific? How long has he been like this? Do you have any pictures? Are the fins shredded? or does it look like its getting shorter and shorter? is there red streaking through the fins? Or red on the edges? What are your water parameters? And tank size?
