Exclamation guppys eating fry as soon as birthed

I don't know what to do to save these fry. I have 2 guppys pregnant. 1 has been giving birth for a week. I tried to save a few but it wasn't working out. so I tried to let them stay in tank with mom but as soon as she had them she eats them if she missed her mark the next guppy eats it. if that misses the mark my platys eat them. I really would like to save them. I have an empty 10g tank with filter and heating. it's half cycled. if I use it I will be placing never before used rocks in it. Please help me to help these babies thanks

Try putting in lots of hiding places. ie. Rocks, caves, voluminous plants.

I hope this helps.

Spawning mop, or plants like java moss are great.

When you notice your female had been pregnant for a couple weeks you can move her to a birthing tank (or your 10 gallon xD) with some java moss or something else to hide in.
She'll probably still end up eating a couple but the other fish cant eat them.
While she's in this separate tank keep an eye on her but don't bother her too much. Once she drops remove her.
