Aww I hope he pulls through! That is why I always take mine out before cleaning the tank. They feel the need to be right there when cleaning lol.

It is just too hard to get them out of the big tank, and usually they stay out of the way, so I really don't know what happened this time.

Well it's morning here now (1032am) and he is STILL ALIVE :):):) He is swimming around the container a bit, but I think I'll leave him in there for most of today, and then see what he is like when I get home, and possibly let him back in the tank :)

Am very happy though :)

that's great! I'm glad he's still kicking! Does he have any visible wounds? It seems like you just scared the fishy poop out of him!

His tail is a bit cut up, and some of his scales look a bit torn up as well. Would it be safe to use aquarium salt on his wounds? I suppose I could salt bath him, but the aquarium salt would probably help Bobby's tail (he's been chewing it )

I wouldn't give him any salt baths if he just came out of shock, just a bit of aquarium salt and some melafix should help
