SO! In Adelaide there is a Betta breeder selling up, all fish must go before the end of january AND im going to Adelaide in about a week and they have hundreds of fish so something is telling me there will still be fish there unless he has put his big marketing hat on and really gotten down to business!

He apparently has a HUGE range of fish and my only problem is that i dont really know what i want

so any ideas are most welcome but im trying to be practical Im thinking a blue mustard gas are there any known problems with them? What about yellows?

Wow, if I lived there I'd snatch up 40!haha :P Maybe it's a good thing I live no where near Australia. Before I go I usually have a color in mind and end up getting the total opposite.lol So I've stopped doing that because the ones that I get usually call to me and I get them. I have a mustard gas CT and there haven't been any problems with him. I also have a yellow VT and he's doing great. I would just keep an open mind because you will probably end up with a totally different colored one.lol Good luck and I can't wait to see pictures!!

Depends if you want to breed or not..... If you are not breeding, just choose the ones that apeal most to you! Lookwise I mean.... If breeding, make sure you find specific strains and keep them in mind :). Remember to watch for health problems and all that. If I were you I would go for a huge variety.... Male and female, all colors, all sizes and types!!!!!

hmm very sound advice i just hope i get there in time! i considered getting some family to pick one up but im reluctant as personality is important to me.

but there will definately be some pics very soon :)

its an amazing sale some of the fish are going for a $1.50!!! none over $12 and these people have been put in the top few breeders of south australia!
