Shiro-chan actually passed away the other morning....though Jirou is still doing well. :)

Well hes doing wonderful and seems to be doing well....other then the fact that he won't eat now :/ I don't know why, I've tried soaking the pellets, crushing them, and a combo of both...I'm going to try some bloodworms tonight, just to make sure I get SOMETHING in him and then I'll go from there....

Today I was finally able to take a picture of him while he was in his water change cup....you can see how badly Nova beat on him, though the wounds on his body seemed to have healed up a bit, he looked a LOT rougher.

Yup, Nova isn't a whole ton better off fin-wise, but Jirou had a few chunks taken out of his scales and his left 'frill' has a small piece missing as well. but I'm just thankful they're both alive and starting to heal :)

But Jirou is a little stinker....I swear hes playing it up to get bloodworms, nommed those down last night and now won't give the pellets a second glance...geez :/ I need him to eat though....may just have to condition him back to pellets when he heals, I hear its helpful to feed them 'the good stuff' a little more often when they're sick anyway...

OUCH! That sucks. Same thing happend to me my first 2 males Savage(R.I.P) and Lewny. Savage jumped over my divider in my 10g. It happend when i was at work so they were going at it for a long time. I feel your pain.

Quick question though...How long does it normally take for them to grow their fins back?

Lewny's fins are slowly growing back but the parts that are growing back are almost transparent. Will the color come back?
