My roommate and I have been reading up on betta diets for our little guys, and we found that you're supposed to have four pellet days, two "treat" days, and one fasting day. All we had were pellets and bloodworms, so we went out to Petco and bought Omega One freeze dried shrimp.
Only, when we opened the container back at our dorm, we found that they seem to be way too big for betta! We're concerned about giving them to our fish - wouldn't want constipation or other issues. Should we grind them up before feeding? Or can betta handle larger shrimp? Thanks in advance!
