How do deal with SBD.

Yea the dreaded SBD.

Neptune has it, has had it, and will continue to have it. Its parasitical.

When the light hits him jsut right, you can actually see though his gigantic stomach.

Hes been like this for about 2months now... And is having difficulty swimming, but is still himself... spazzing around like normal.

What can I do to relieve him... I feel bad for him and know he cant hang on more then another month or so.

There is a medicated food made by Jungle Labs that you could try. There is no guarrantee that he will eat it. If you put Garlic Guard on it , it might make it a little more tasty for him.

Yeah... he has tried the Jungle foods, and he won't eat them. Garlic Guard, what is this? We've never heard of it.

PraziPro by Hikari is another good dewormer. You can soak any dry food in it.

Garlic guard is by Seachem I think, you could probably get the same effect by crushing a clove of garlic if you can't find any.

In any case I stongly advise you tackle the internal parasites. They destroy stomach lining, making nutrient absorption impossible and WILL kill your fish eventually.
