He nibbled on some BBS and flake, but he needed to eat more than what he did.

Nibbled on the flake and BBS, but not nearly what he should have.

Okay, well he at least tried something then. Has he been active or at least trying to be active? Do you have other fish that he might be able to see to stimulate him a little? Just a little peak at another fish might help him as well.

If you can try to get some Epsom Salt for him that would be best. You want 100% Magnesium Sulfate, usually used as a laxative or to sooth swollen limbs. You'll find it usually in the first aid section. Make sure it's dye free, scent free and 100% Magnesium Sulfate and you're good to go. Wal-mart has a nice big bag for like 88 cent's so it won't break your bank thankfully.

He is floating in a tank with another baby in it, so he sees him a lot. My mom is sorta sick and wont be able to make it to the store for Epsom :/

He is not active at all. He just lays on his side on the bottom. He looks dead but he is breathing and if I move the cup he swims in a circle.

@ashleylyn She is pretty much the betta queen.

lol, I'm betta queen by far. I still have lots to learn myself but thank you for the compliment ^_^

How is he looking today? Any improvement with the darkness? Does he looks bloated at all or has he pooped at all? If so, what color is it. Are his gills really red looking at all? Does his breath look labored or is he just sort of chilling there?

He is getting worse. I tried covering him, but he did not show any improvement. I cant see any poops and he does not look bloated.

His gills are normal looking and his breathing is not labored.

I'm sorry, I don't what else there could be other than, did you acclimate him well to your water when you first brought him home? Perhaps just let him be for today and just do a water change tomorrow to see if he perks up any. I'm sorry, I'm running out of ideas.

It doesn't seem to be anything illness related like bacterial/fungal or parasitical, the last thing I would check is just the water parameter's and how well you acclimate and the temp of the water.

Sadly to say, Little Boo has passed. Even though he didnt make it, I find comfort knowing that he didnt die on a cold shelf. He died in a loving house who only wanted to make him better.
