So recently, I went through some pretty annoying bacterial bloom. It's gone for sure now, but there's all this white residue that came from it, and it's just not coming off. I'll have to scrape it.
In my next WC, i'm planning on taking out the affected plants and cleaning it out in old tank water. But i'm planning on scrubbing it...hard. Would this kill any of the beneficial bacteria on it? Some of the plants are pretty broad and expected to have an amount of beneficial bacteria. My main goal is to ... not lose any beneficial bacteria. (Ew, repeats D: )
Thank you :)
