Currently, all of my 10 gallons are bare bottom and my 2.5 quarantine tank is gravel. But I've been housing mollies, plecos, sharks, and salamanders for the past few years, when I'm not using the tanks for mice/hamsters/hermit crabs.
I have been (slowly) getting back into the Betta world and it's taken my a while to decide what I want to do with my tanks.
I'm going to make them all NPTs! My 2.5 quarantine (I have another back up quarantine/hospital tank) is going to be used for either plants, brine shrimp, ghost shrimp, or snails. That I'm not sure on yet. One ten gallon is going to be a 1 male Betta community tank for Hart. He's less aggressive than a passive/submissive female, so he gets the community. One ten gallon is going to be a 5ish female sorority. One ten gallon is going to be split into 5s for two more males, probably EEs.
Permitted all works out of course.
The rest of the tanks I'm still not sure on yet. I think I'll let Hubby do those. Although, I do want a Giant or two and another salt water tank, so I may just let him do one tank ;)
