Okay so he and Marilyn both came in looking pretty stressed (obviously) and they both look a lot darker, especially Marilyn. The pictures make Razzi look darker than he is though. I'm guessing over the next week or two as he adjusts he will lighten back up? He is a gorgeous fish and seems to have tons of personality, I love him already

Two questions though,

1-Petsmart was out of the small heaters when I was there so will a heating pad keep him okay until I can get one tomorrow? His water is at about 76 right now.

2- How do I leave feedback on aquabid???

What size tank is he in? I have 25watt heaters in all of my 2.5 gallon tanks and even have them in my 1.5 gallon temporary tanks. If you get one thats adjustable and submsersible, you don't have to worry about temps. fluctuating or the water staying too cold.

I guess it depends on where you are. It may not be an issue for you in FL but here in MA, the winter's are too damn cold for the mini heaters that only keep the temp in the tank a degree or two warmer than room temp.

I would have had betta popsicles by now.

One other thing, I think your tank is pretty but you might want to add one more leafy silk plant or a little cave as a hiding and sleeping spot for him.

I know what size heater I'm getting I was just asking what I could do to help him until I can pick it up. And I'm not done decorating the tank.

Oh and I would never use one of those darn things that just ups the water a little from room temp. I tend to keep my room pretty cool (it gets HOT in FL lol) and I keep my tanks at 80 deg F so obviously 2-3 degrees above room temp just won't be enough. The pictures make Razzi look really dark and he isn't that dark I promise.

Lol don't worry no harm done ;) I can definitely understand the concern and I welcome any and all input. I learned when I was young that it's good to hear people out, you never know what you could learn.
