Off the top of my head, I haven't seen it, but I might be able to make a quick trip to the LFS and see.

Bobby has red on his tail at the moment, and I'm wondering if it could be blood, and he is swimming strangely. :(

I'd defiantly move the sickest one to the 1g. Daily water changes. 1 teaspoon of salt. It may be a little stressful for them, but better in the long run.

Go to your LFS and see if they have any all around medicine. For bacterial or fungal.

The only thing they had was melafix. So I picked that up. To be honest I don't know which one is the sickest; I think I'll try treating Bobby first because of the blood, and Cas is more active. I might pick up a small tank now to treat Cas in.

Sorry to update AGAIN. Lol.
I have a 1.8gal with a heater set up, should I put a fake plant in there as well, so he has something to hide in? I'm just waiting for the temp to get to the right spot, and then I'll put Bobby in. Do you reckon just go for salt, or do I add the Melafix as well?

I picked up a 3 gal kritter keeper which I'll set up for Castiel, don't have a heater for it at the moment, so I'll wait til I have Bobby in the other tank, and use their shared heater for the 3gal, or would it be safe to attempt to treat him in the big tank? I have live plants in there, and have heard putting the salt in directly could damage the plants.

My poor boys. If I could find my camera I'd take some pictures, I don't think my iPhone will take clear enough pictures.

Well, Bobby died today, and Castiel looks like he will any day now. He is still swimming and eating, but he just looks horrid. That stupid stupid tank is cursed. I've decided I'm going to turn it into a sorority instead. Hopefully the girls will survive in there.

I lost Castiel tonight as well. I'm so ANGRY. I don't know why this is happening. Water is fine, I change up to 75% a week, it's heated, there is no reason for these fish to be getting sick.

Gabriel has starting chewing his fins / or has fin rot, and I'm so scared I'm going to lose him too. I'm going to set him up in his own tank eventually, but in the mean time what should I do to attempt to stop it? I'm a bit scared to do salt baths because Cas & Bobby got worse after I gave them salt baths.

:'( I feel like a crappy owner right now,

Oh no. I'm so sorry about your fish.
RIP Castiel and Bobby :( You were loved.

Not sure about Gabriel but he must be stressed for some reason. Can you put him by himself and give him a nice leafy plant or cave to hide in? Maybe he just needs to chill out for a while. I don't think they make fishy prozac :)

Don't be discouraged, sometimes we just don't know what's going on with our fish and we lose them despite our best efforts.
