Exclamation I think my betta has some serious problems!

Okay, this is my first betta, his name is Sparkle. Since I got home he has been floating near the top of the water and what looks like gasping. He also seems quite fat, even though he hasn't eaten for a few days, and his scales seem furry. I don't know what to do! My brother's betta seems just fine.

Hello and welcome to the forum. If his scales look like a pinecone, then its probably dropsy.
