HE ATE!!! It took him 2 weeks, but ace finally ate today. He started to perk up a couple days ago but still wouldn't eat so I was really confused. But oh man... I'm one happy, relieved girl right now. When I dropped the pellet in he zoomed up to it and I wasn't expecting it, so when I saw him eat it I actually yelled out 'YES!!!' Lol.

Oh and total change of subject but I got out a mirror today to play with everyone, and the boys had a total blasty blast flaring at themselves. The girls didn't care in the least, and kept swimming away lol.

Just an observation and not meant to offend anyone, But more so in perhaps, Stop & take a min and re-think things.

I just find it somewhat amazing how some folks will literally starve their betta's to force them to eat a pellet,

I think If I was starved two weeks I to would eat just about anything I could get my hands onto too..

This dog food contamination that took place a few yrs back,
Alot of folks looked back and said their dogs/Cats didn't want to eat the stuff, But they forced them too thru lack of anything else to eat,.. Perhaps more people should consider listening to their pets more often, They just might be trying to tell you something..

i hope you're not implying that i starved my betta for 2 weeks, because that's not the case at ALL. every day i tried feeding him, and he wouldn't take ANYTHING until last night. i have 3 different types of pellets, and blood worms, and he wouldn't eat any of it.

oh and i also had a sample pack of flakes that i tried also, and he refused that too.

I have read so many cases where people let them "yes Starve" until they eat what they want them too,

The statement was not aimed at you directly, Just a generalization from all the post I have read,

I should leave well enough alone, But come again?

If it's sick or something wrong with it, perhaps so, But any living creature when hungry enough will eat things they normally didn't like or want.
