Well, he jumped out into the main tank last night, fished him out. He did it again today. So I watched him, he is TINY compared to my Vamp. New guy kept puffing at his reflection, Vamp watched him from the other side of the plants. They didn't seem to bother with each other. I'm going to keep watching them. Will move the new guy only if I see aggression.

Any ideas on names???

Vamp swam up around to a clear spot to get air, he passed the new guy and didn't bother him. New guy puffed up a tad and moved sideways away from him. Then the current caught him and he swam into Vamp, but neither freaked out and just slowly continued on their way. ^.^
Better pix in a sec!!!

Make sure you keep an eye on them. I'm afraid it will eventually end in disaster.

Almost perfect picture, lol.

Real blue dragon scales.

Free in the tank, can you spot him?

Red really looks like that.

Reminds me of the Polish & the Japanese flag for some reason. So he will have either a Polish name or Japanese.

Bettas can move their heads separate from the rest of their bodies, they also love to get into weird/tight corners...lol.

He has a scar, from the corner scale above his gill, down over his fin.

He is very curious of the other fish in the tank. That's an Oto cat next to him that he is eying.

A big blue mickey mouse female Platy checking out the new fish in her tank.

They are in a 55gal stuffed with plants to the brim. Vamp has very full fins and is a very calm, easy going slow fish. New guy so far wants to do nothing but explore.
